Wrekin have launched a brand new concept in double sealed pressed top steel access covers that radically improves the seal efficiency compared with traditional methods.
A primary seal is achieved using a unique captive ‘O’ ring gasket under lateral compression in a specially designed lipped channel. This combines with Wrekin’s die formed gapless pressed top to create a highly effective first seal. This is supplemented with a second seal made with a vertically compressed additional neoprene gasket.
The new technology is a step change in seal effectiveness.
